Boys & Girls Club at CCLA
Every day, we at Boys & Girls Clubs seek to enable all young people to reach their full potential as caring, productive and responsible citizens.
We offer Power Hour, a homework and academic hour, for every student each day, as well as dynamic programming in the core areas of Education and Career Development; Sports, Fitness and Recreation; The Arts; Health and Life Skills; and Character and Leadership. Favorite programs include Triple Play, Ballet Folklorico, SMART Girls, Drama Matters, Music Makers, Passport to Manhood, Science Explorers, and more!
The Cali Club is open daily afterschool until 6:00pm, and we accept members 1st grade and up. Membership is only $50 a year, and includes a morning program (in the gym) from 7:00am-8:15am on all school days.
For most school holidays, Boys & Girls Club Cali kids are invited to attend the Brooks Road Club, located next to Windsor Middle School. Hours on school holidays are usually 7:00am-6:00pm and members must bring a sack-lunch.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I enroll my child in the Club?
Applications are in the Boys & Girls Club office, located in room 59 (on the black top close to the playground).
Do the kids do homework at the Club?
Yes! Every day after school, each group participates in Power Hour, where our focus is homework completion, reading time, and academic skill-building. In addition to Power Hour, Extended Homework is offered every day as a program option for all members.
Can my child attend only two or three days a week?
Members of Boys & Girls Club are encouraged to come to the Club 5 days a week. We offer different programs every day, so there’s always a lot to choose from! Members who attend 5 days a week will be given priority space in the program.
